Follow up from the Hrani Yoga workshop.


Thank you all for joining us last Saturday afternoon. The time passed so quickly that I had to go over to do some digestive system poses. We will continue the work during yoga sessions. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me via email or at the studio.

As I have promised few, I will put few reminders here from what we have discussed.
Conscious eating and living:
1) Have a yogi mind: it doesn't mean necessarily do yoga poses every hour and day. It means to be aware and conscious how we use our body and make decision like on food intake.

2) Remember the basics: sleep well, eat well, drink water, good salt, practice yoga few times per week, walk, feet health I always talk about (flat feet = flat tire on cars), relieve stress through pranayama (breathing exercises)...

3) Supplements only things you really lack in your system.

4) Have a routine and lifestyle that is more health oriented: we cannot deny that we are connected to nature, circadian time cannot be ignored. One of the detox cycle that happens naturally is from 10pm to 2am. Also, speaking of timing, keep a fasting period of 12-14 hours from the last meal of the day until the first meal of the day (dinner and breakfast, you sleep, so it's easy).

5) Water: 7-8 cups of filtered pure alkaline water in between meals. Two cups to break the fast in the morning, then 30minutes to an hour later, have your breakfast. Make sure you keep the fasting period in mind as well.

6) I also told you what to do first thing in the morning when you wake up. The routine: how to wake up, what to do next, followed by a visit in washroom, water...which salt is the best salt.

7) Eliminate all toxins from your life: makeup, cosmetics, toiletries, cleaning agents, detergents, soaps, shampoos, toxic toothpastes, non-adhesive pans like T-fal, plastic containers with BPA, MSG, drugs...basically everything you use and everything around you, check them!

8) If the detox is not possible, then just follow the elimination/anti-inflammatory diet for few months. Follow the yes list I gave you. If you lost or didn't get it, email me and I will send you a copy.
